Workshop with Sally Pinhey 'Complex Structures' at Musbury Village Hall, near Axminster. As well as explaining the Fibonacci sequence formula, Sally will demonstrate the order in which overlapping structures (pineapples, fircones, sunflower seedheads, etc.) can be painted to retain both spatial depth and clarity. £10 members, £15 non-members. Exhibition at Birdwood Gallery, High Street, Totnes. A selection of framed pictures, unframed portfolio items and greetings cards will be for sale. Handing-in Saturday 8 May at 5.30pm. Private View on Sunday 9 May in the afternoon, exact time to be arranged.
12 June 2010 - AGM and workshop
The AGM will be held at the Garden House, Buckland Monachorum near Plymouth, at 11.30am, followed by a sketchbook day with Rosie Martin. The summerhouses will be available all day in case of inclement weather, or for those who would prefer to paint their subjects under cover.
