Diploma Course

Botanical and Natural History Illustration at Dartington, near Totnes, Devon, with Rosie Martin and Meriel Thurstan. Weekend tasters in the autumn. The course runs from 4 March to 24 November 2011, with 'school' holidays and half term breaks. Twenty-four Thursdays from 10am-4pm. Contact merielthurstan[at]btinternet.com.

Diploma Course

'Botany for the Botanical Artist' with Dr Anne Bebbington PhD, botanist, natural history illustrator and formerly senior ecology tutor with the Field Studies Council, and Mary Brewin MSc PGCE Cert HE Botanical Illustration. Monthly workshops on Saturdays (10am-4pm) from 4 September 2010, to be held at Nature in Art, Twigworth, Gloucestershire. 29 April 2011 - Workshop with Simon Williams

Join Simon Williams at Digby Hall, Sherborne, for a demonstration and workshop. See his website www.swillustrations.com. Simon is a professional illustrator specialising in botanical and natural history and is listed in the 33rd edition of Who's Who in Art. His work has been published in 'The Art of Botanical Painting', on wildlife Explorer cards and in books. He holds a Silver-Gilt medal from the RHS and Certificates of Botanical Merit from the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA). He is tutor for the SBA distance learning diploma course.
